is the Dell Rapids Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for November 2005.

Someone commented the other day, "It's snowing!" I looked outside and recognized those flakes.  "No", I said, "it's chaff from the elevator.  It's harvest time again." 

That familiar sight has blessed us each year as the Dell Rapids Coop Grain elevator processes the loads of corn and beans from around the area.

Just recently two grain bin structures fell over in a heavy wind and fell on the tracks.  Crews quickly removed the rubble and the overhead feeder chutes were repaired.
