Dells Electric has been chosen by Dell Rapids Chamber of Commerce as the May Business of the Month.

Dells Electric is owned and operated by Mike Tiernan. The company specializes in commercial, farm and residential wiring.

They also install home theatre products. Tiernan said Dells Electric carries Sensonic speakers and Onyko receivers.

Tiernan, a Hot Springs native, has owned and operated Dell Electric for the past two years; he said Dell Rapids is a great community to operate a business in. 

“The community has treated us really well,” he said.

Besides being a chamber member, Dells Electric also sponsors local baseball and school athletics.

Dells Electric is located at 329 E. Third St. The store hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. through 5 p.m., Monday though Friday. The business can contacted at 428-5700.
